TRUEWEST is a production company based in Bergen. Situated on the dramatic and beautiful Norwegian western coast, our main focus is to tell stories from this region.

TRUEWEST is made up of both producers, creative writers and directors, who share a common goal of telling engaging stories, brought forth by combining our creative and production talents.

The people that make up TRUEWEST have a long track record within the film industry. We have worked on international productions such as “Succession”, “The Snowman”, “Downsizing” and TV-series like “Innocents”, “Ragnarok”, “Occupied”, “Aber Bergen” and “Shetland”. 

A truly good story is at the very core of a good film or TV-series. And the small, yet diverse Western Norwegian region surrounding the city of Bergen has the potential to be both modern, ancient, dramatic, funny, forming the basis for genuinely moving stories with a clear universal appeal, but without losing the unique flavor that make up the area we live in.
